Kay Hall

Kay loves to work with colour and their interactions in her mosaic pieces, which is a never-ending challenge and curiosity for her. She also works in textiles which she enjoys as this also gives her the latitude for play and exploration.

Kay completed a course at The Mosaic Art School in Ravenna, Italy in 2002 under the tuition of Lucianna Notturni which inspired her to develop her own style using stained glass, smalti, tile and found objects such as recycled ceramics.

More recently Kay has been creating mosaic panels for the garden. With a resin backing determines they are light to hang.

Kay has opened her studio for the past 13 years as a member of Peterborough Artists Open Studios as well as public and private exhibitions all over the country. She is also a member of The British Association for Modern Mosaic.
